In this page we introduce some of the beautiful excursions and trips which can be done in our city, as well as some useful advice to help preserving Nature and the National Park, and to minimize risk while enjoying them.

Cerro Otto:
Ubicado sobre la ruta de los Pioneros, en el km. 5, encontramos el ascenso en el teleférico del Cerro Otto. En la cumbre una confitería giratoria le permitirá conocer de una manera diferente el ambiente que lo rodea, el lago, las islas, las montañas, la ciudad.
También podrá apreciar réplicas de tamaño natural de las obras del maestro Miguel Angel.
Aproximadamente en el km 1 de esta ruta, se encuentra el camino de ascenso al cerro, ya sea en auto o a pie (trekking), desde aqui usted podrá disfrutar de una caminata hermosa y cómoda conociendo además lugares históricos como la cabaña de Don Otto Meiling, pionero de la región y en los deportes invernales.

Located on Los Pioneros road, km 5, is the point of access to the cerro Otto. At the top of the mountain, a revolving tea room will allow you to experience in a different way the sourrondings, the lake, theislands, the mountains, the city...
You will also be able to appreciate full-scale of masterpieces of Miguel Angel.
Approximately at km 1, of this road is the access to the road leading to the top of the mountain, either by car or on foot; from that point on you can enjoy a beautilfu and comfortable walk knowing historical places such as Don Otto Mailling´s cabin, who was a pionner of this region and introduced winter sports to this place.

Cerro Catedral:
El centro de esquí y deportes invernales por excelencia en Bariloche, la singular belleza de este cerro, sus vistas, la vegetación y la posibilidad de divisar aves de gran pporte como el "condor", además de todas las posibilidades deportivas y turísticas con que cuenta, hacen de este lugar un paseo inolvidable todo el año.

Las Playas sureñas:
Muchas personas antes de conocer el lugar piensan que por estar al Sur, con un clima frío, las playas no tienen vida como en otras latitudes.
Lo cierto es que en verano , las costas y playas de los distintos lagos de Bariloche se visten de colores; los verdes de la vegetación, las flores, los botes y lanchas, y las bañistas hacen de estos lugares verdaderos balnearios, en donde se puede disfrutar del agua, el solo, la naturaleza, mejor que en cualquier otro lado.
En temporada de pesca, habiendo adquirido el permiso correspondiente, todos disfrutan desde la costa este apasionante desafío, siempre con la responsabilidad en la devolución de la pieza y respetando los lineamientos.

The Southern beaches:
Many people, before visiting this place, assume that being in the south and in a cold climate, beaches are not as popular as in other latitudes.
True is that in the summer, the coasts and beaches of the lakes in Bariloche dress in colours, the greens of the vegetation, flowers, boats and motor boats and the bathers make of this places real bathing-places. Where you can enjoy the water, the sun, the nature better than in any other place.
During the fishing season, after having purchased the fishing permit, everybody enjoys from the coast this fascinating challenge, keeping in mind to comply with the rule of returning the fish and respecting the regulations.

Isla Victoria / Bosque de Arrayanes:
Las excursiones lacustres son un tema aparte, la magia imponente del lago su inmensidad, y las características de la vegetación en muchos casos diferente a la que puede encontrar en las montañas, hacen de este tipo de paseos un aventura inolvidable. En la foto el famoso Bosque de Arrayanes de la Isla Victoria es solo una mínima muestra de lo que va a encontrar

The magic of the enormous lake and the different view that you have from different sides of the lake make of this kind of trips and unforgetable adventure. In the pictures you can see to famous "Arrayanes" forest, into Victoria Island, and this is only one among the many things that you can see.

El lago Nahuel Huapi:
Un espejo de agua cuya profundidad es tan variable que no a sido medida en su totalidad tiene una riqueza ictícola importante, es posible realizar deportes náuticos, paseos lacustres muy variados y hermosos. Además se conecta con sus diferentes brazos con otros lagos que nos permite llegar hasta laguna Frías, un lugar mágico en su totalidad. Conocer la isla Centinela, donde descansan los restos del "Perito Moreno", creador del sistema de Parques nacionales en la Argentina entre otras cosas.

Nahuel Huapi lake:
A mirror of water wich its depth hasn´t been measured yet. In the lake you can practice kayaking, canoeing, and another sports or take a boat called "Catamaran" and go to another lakes for example Frias lake, near Port Blest another magic and amazing places to go.
In the way to port Blest, you will pass in front of Centinela Island where the tomb of Perito Moreno is. he was the creator and founder of the National Parks in Argentina.

El Centro Cívico fue construído en los comienzos de la ciudad bajo la supervisación de "Ezequiel Bustillo", sus construcciones de piedra albergan ya 100 años de historia e historias. Es en si mismo un paseo más de la ciudad de Bariloche, alrededor de él encontramos los edificios de la Municipalidad, la oficina de Turismo, el destacamento de Policía, la Biblioteca Pública, el Museo de la Patagonia, todo frente al gran lago, rodeado de arboles y flores.

También puede tomar como un paseo mas la visita a la Feria de Artesanos ubicada sobre la calle Urquiza.

Who hasn´t seen this picture in some Bariloche guide?. Centro Civico was buist when Barilocha was fouded. It was built by Exequiel Bustillo arquitector some of his construction are almost 100 years old and you can see them in Bariloche and the environs of it. In Centro Civico, you can find the Tourist office, Public library, Patagonia Museum. Every is located in front of the lake and sourronding by thress and flowers.

Behind Centro Civico, there is a square where locals sell their handycrafts, check it out and get a interesting and good quality presents.
